Throughout their travels, Patrice Averilla and Martin Solhaugen realized that exploring the Philippines can be very challenging if you don't know exactly where to go, where to stay, and what to experience. They were saddened when people they knew shared stories of horrible experiences, bad service, and outdated hotels. This was nothing like the Philippines they knew and loved! Determined to change this, they created Dream Philippines Tours to ensure that every traveler experiences the true beauty and hospitality of their home.

Patrice Averilla, Filipino, and Martin Solhaugen, Norwegian, met serendipitously while exploring the captivating landscapes of Sri Lanka in 2017. Both seasoned travelers, they instantly bonded over their shared love for adventure and storytelling. Together, they decided to document their travels, sharing their experiences through captivating videos on YouTube. Over the next six years, they traveled to over 54 countries, stayed in more than 100 hotels, and accumulated a following of 1.6 million subscribers through 1,700 video guides.
